Nava Brindavana
DirectionTake a serene boat ride to Navabrindavan, a sacred island on the Tungabhadra River. This holy site contains the tombs (Brindavans) of nine great Madhwa saints, including the revered Vyasaraya, making it a powerful pilgrimage destination for devotees from far and wide.
From Chintamani Ashram, at a very far distance, there is a sandbank of Navabrindavan in front of Chinchalakote. You have to go here by raft or boat. This is called Kaladri Mountain. There are nine great sages’ tombs here. Therefore, this is called Navabrindavan. PadmanabhaTeertha, Kaveendrateertha, Vageeshateertha, GovindaOdeyar, Vyasaraya, Raghuvarya, Srinivasateertha, Ramateertha, and Sudheendrateertha: every year, the sages’ worship takes place. Many devotees from Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu also visit here continuously
