Hulikere-Koppal

This tiger lake, located 2 km away from Koppal city, has its own history. Because there is a hill around the lake, tigers used to come to drink water from this lake. In the past, this lake was the only source of water for the tigers. Therefore, this lake is called Tiger Lake. This water is very useful for the agricultural activities and drinking purposes of the surrounding areas of Koppal. This lake does not dry up for about three to four years once it is filled.
